2006
Vikram Solar was established by Vikram Group with the common core value of global improvement.
Spreading environmental awareness for a better tomorrow.
2007
Began construction of own solar module manufacturing facility.
2008
Finest equipments and machineries were brought from USA, Germany, Switzerland & Japan.
2009
- First international utility-scale EPC project in Germany.
- Began first PV module production at Falta, WB.
- Established first office in Germany.
2010
Forayed into international EPC business.
Our production capacity doubled.
2011
- Successfully commissioned a total of 2MW solar installations in India.
- 3MW installed under the National Solar Mission of India.
2012
Crossed the mark of 120 MW annual PV module manufacturing capacity.
2013
- 1st to commission a 40MW solar power plant in Rajasthan .
- Contributed to the solarisation of World’s 1st solar airport in Kochi, Kerala.
2014
- Ranked as India‘s only Tier 1 module manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
- Designed, installed and commissioned India’s 1st ever floating solar plant in Kolkata, WB.
2015
- Introduced industry leading 27 years of linear performance warranty on modules.
- Commissioned India‘s largest airport rooftop installation at NSCBI Airport, Kolkata, WB.
- Reached 0.5GW annual PV module production capacity.
- ISO 9001:2008 certification for EPC and O&M division.
2016
- National Excellence Awards 2016 for Rooftop Solar Power Projects in the Domestic Solar Module Manufacturer category.
- ET Bengal Corporate Award 2016 for fastest growing company.
- Vikram Solar reaches 500 MW production capacity.
2017
- 1 GW of production capacity reached.
- 2nd time Top Performer in ranking modules in PVEL PQP list.
- 130 MW plant commissioned in Rajasthan for NTPC Ltd.
2018
- MoU with French Alternative Energy and Atomic Energy Commission for R&D.
- Launch of new smart module series SOLIVO.
- Launch of high efficiency Half-Cell module - 1st by an Indian solar module manufacturer.
2019
- 200 MW plant commissioned in Andhra Pradesh for APGENCO.
- Awarded with ‘Best Contribution in Solar Energy’ award by MNRE Minister at CBIP Awards.
- Awarded with 'CII Award for Active Customer Engagement' in Manufacturing - Large Business Organizations.
2020
- 3rd Time Top Performer in PVEL PQP list.
- Awarded with 300 MW of EPC project by NTPC India.
- Commissioned 5 MW Carport project for Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in Haryana, India.
- Awarded with Business Leader of the Year Award by ET Now in Customer Centric Excellence category.
- 1st Indian Tier 1 solar company to introduce a Customer Experience Portal for more customer engagement & enhanced service experience.
2021
- Became India's largest solar PV module manufacturer.
- 225 MW plant for NTPC commissioned in Uttar Pradesh - largest in the state.
- India’s 1st Tier 1 manufacturer to globally launch M6 cell powered modules crossing 500Wp.
- Crossed 3 GW capacity in terms of modules shipped globally
- Crossed 1 GW capacity in terms of commissioned EPC projects globally.
